Marlera Golf Ressort (HR)
Development & Consulting
The investor engaged Projekt Centrum to create a comprehensive study to investigate the most sustainable and environmentally friendly systems and energy sources for the resort Marlera. It is not only heating and cooling that is in focus, since every golf resort requires a large amount of water for irrigation.
It is planned that up to 2,000 guests and visitors will stay in the resort, wastewater disposal and the possibility of reusing it for irrigation purposes required detailed calculations. All calculations were summarized in daily, monthly and annual simulations.
Each facility or consumer was placed in the simulation model and all available techniques, as well as different energy sources were analysed accordingly. In the simulation process we also included several manufacturers and compared their technologies and efficiency.
In the study, we covered the following topics:
- Heating & Cooling (all available technologies)
- Electrical Energy
- Renewable Energy (cogeneration, PV,…)
- Pool technology (all available technologies)
- Water (drinking water, process water,…)
- Hydrant system
- Irrigation (internal and external water sources)
- Wastewater (treatment, reuse of wastewater for irrigation,..)
- Sizing and optimization of storage lakes
- Waste management
